Presenter Rules & Guidelines

Thinking about pitching?
Check out our requirements, rules, and some example presentations before you submit your request!

Pitch Requirements:

  1. You must sign up in advance to request a pitch spot. Spots are limited, so submit early, even if your presentation isn't ready. Requesting to pitch does not guarantee you a spot. Instructions for confirming your spot are detailed on the sign-up form and are additionally emailed to you once your form is submitted. Events with full slots will be marked as (WAITLIST). You can join the wait list for cancellations, and we'll notify you accordingly.
  2. Keep it positive! This is NOT a roast. This event is to promote friends in a positive and fun way with the goal of helping them make a new connection!
  3. Keep it Clean. Please refrain from including nudity or inappropriate imagery.
  4. Keep it between 3-5 minutes! Be imaginative, but aim to keep your "pitch" under 5 minutes. We recommend clearly stating the individual's preferred pronouns, sexual orientation, and age in the pitch.
  5. Make sure your last slide has the required information. The final slide should feature a picture of the person along with their contact information (Instagram, phone number, etc.). This slide will remain displayed between pitches and will also be put on autoplay with the rest of the featured singles during the mingling portion of the event.
  6. Share your presentation on time. Instructions for submitting your presentation link are included in your confirmation email and event reminders. Be sure to name your file with both the presenter’s and featured single’s names (e.g., Jane pitching Alex). Send your presentation link 3 days prior to the event to make sure you don't lose your spot!
  7. Notify us about changes in plans. We understand that things come up, and sometimes plans change. Since spots are limited for each event, we appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. This allows us to open your spot for another single to participate. Please email us at least 4 days prior to the event to be eligible for a refund.
